Bromley Priory Malta Meeting

The Bromley Priory Malta meeting on the 26th of November 2022 at Penge Masonic Centre were officially visited by the Provincial Prior R.E.Kt David Jordan and the Provincial Sub Prior Pieter Jan Swinge to invest Provincial Malta Officers at the first of three Investiture meetings planned.

The annual Provincial Priory meeting of Oxfordshire Berkshire & Buckinghamshire was postponed due to the Funeral of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II. The meeting had impressive attendance and the Provincial Prior R.E.Kt. Graham J. McGowan-Smith welcomed 57 distinguished Guests from all around the Country.

Twelve Provincial Officers were congratulated by the Provincial Prior on their conferment and a Provincial Prior’s Award of Merit Certificate was presented to E.Kt. Angus Rhodes for his magnificent achievement of raising £27k for the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital by being the Captain of the rely team to the Great Priory Family Cathedral service at Wells Cathedral in September.

The Eminent Prior of the Bromley Priory No. 286 E.Kt. Kenneth Dry perfectly installed into the Order of Knights of Malta, knights A.J. Group and R.J. Yeeles. The lectures were beautifully delivered by E.Kt. Angus Rhodes and E.Kt. John Campbell.
