The Great Priory of Malta 2022 on Tuesday 15th of November 2022 at Freemasons Hall, Great Queens Street London. The Province of Kent was well represented by four Eminent Knights taking part in the day’s proceedings, E.Kt. Kelvin Gane as Depty Great Mareschal conducting the Candidate in the ceremony, E.Kt. Pat King as Great Captain of Outposts, E.Kt. David Hiscock as Mareschal on the Octagonal Table and E.Kt. Dennis Dean on the Temple Delegation.

The Great Priory of Malta 2022 Temple Delegation

There were five Kent Eminent Knights receiving their Great Malta Ranks, E.Kt. Kelvin Gane Depty Great Mareschal, E.Kt. Norman Playford Grand Masters Banner Bearer, E.Kt. Angus Rhodes Great Captain of Outposts, Past Great Herald Raymond William Hudson, E.Kt. Allan Robin Young Past Great Standard Bearer (B) and E.Kt. Reginald David Spicer Past Great Aid-de-Camp. The large attendance welcomed into the Grand Temple the Grand Master Most Eminent and Supreme Grand Master Paul Raymond Clement and the Great Prior of Malta R.E.Kt. Jonathan Whittaker who conducted the ceremony of Knight of Malta.

The Great Priory of Malta 2022 Octagonal Table Orle

A new Orle was used for the first time wonderfully painted by E.Kt. Paul Swinge brother of our own Provincial Sub Prior E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge. The Temple Delegation was formed by Provincial Vice-Chancellors from Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Nottinghamshire, London, Kent, Hertfordshire and the Great Seneschal the Very High and R.E.Kt Andrew Christopher Rainbow.
