The Installation Meeting of Shirley Woolmer Preceptory

On 7th of November 2022 the R.E.Kt. David Jordan and his Provincial Officers along with a distachment of his bodyguard visited Shirley Woolmer Preceptory No.500 Installation meeting and witnessed E.Kt. Abayomi Villiers Bright expertly Installed into the chair by E.Kt. Paul Harris.

Waiting 19 years for the honour of sitting in the chair. Kt. Abayomi failing health prevented him from totally participating in the Inner working being restricted to a chair, notwithstanding his physical difficulty E.Kt. Abayomi enjoyed the ceremony and was very pleased to be installed into the Preceptors chair. The R.E.Kt. David Jordan congregated the Installing Officer for dealing with the situation with dignity and respect for the Eminent Preceptor.

An excellent festive board was served by the Sidcup Masonic hall caterers and everyone commented on the quality of the dining.
