Province of Kent

On Friday the 2nd September the Preceptory held a regular meeting at Sevenoaks Masonic Hall The event was not exactly “regular” as the Provincial Prior was attending in his official capacity (he’s a member of 371) and two new Knights were installed.

The Prior was supported by Provincial Officers and his Bodyguard.

The ceremony was a real team effort by the Preceptory, which was opened and closed by the Eminent Preceptor, the 1st part of the ceremony delivered by E.Kt. Graham Mitchell (who also delivered the charge), the 2nd part being delivered by E.Kt David Martin, the symbols by E.Kt Kelvin Gane and the accolade given by the Provincial Prior.

A further four candidates are waiting to join so everything is looking good at 317. The evening was also marked by the impressive attendance.
