 The Grand Master and some of his team of active Great Officers including the Grand Masters banner bearer E.Kt. Norman Playford had touched down in Guernsey to attend the Malta meeting of St. George of Guernsey Preceptory No. 491.

The meeting was presided over by Eminent Prior Andrew Henton, assisted by the Priory Mareschal, E.Kt. Roger Wood, who had been invested as the Great Herald the previous day.
