
Province of Kent

At Frederick Friday Preceptory No. 484 on the 1st of February 2025 in Chatham Masonic Hall, the Eminent Preceptor V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean was paraded into the Preceptory under an arch of Steel commanded By E.Kt. Stephen Littler.


The thirty three Knights present were professionally entertained by E.Kt. Vernon King the Provincial Vice-Chancellor of London and a representative of the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital. He delivered an excellent talk on the work carried out in the holy land. The Eminent Preceptor also delivered a talk on the Connection with the Knights Templar and the Peasants revolt in 1381.

The Eminent Preceptor welcome into the Preceptory two joining members E.Kt Peter Preidel and E.Kt Andrew Charalambous and the Preceptory made a very generous donation of £500 to the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital which E.Kt. Vernon King gratefully accepted.
After the meeting the Knights retired to the refectory to enjoy the best food in the Province; Steak and Kidney Pudding and Bowls of Trifle.
