The Great Priory of Malta
At the Great Priory of Malta held at the Grand Temple Great Queens Street, London on the 19th of November 2024. The Most Eminent and Supreme Grand Master Paul Raymond Clement obligated and invested R.E.Kt. David Jordan as a Knight Commander of the Temple.
The Great Marshal R.E.Kt. Tim Wheeler escorted R.E.Kt. David to knee in front of the Grand Master and instructed him to place his hands between those of the Grand Master and offer his allegiance and fealty. The Grand Master proceeded to presented R.E.Kt. David with his baton of Rank and his Patten of office.
The Grand Master then Invested all his Great Priory of Malta officers of the insuring year including Great Deputy Mareshal E.Kt. Kelvin Gane, Great Captain of Outposts E.Kt. Phil Clare, Past Great Officers included Past Great 1st Lieutenant. V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean, Past Great 2nd Lieutenant. E.Kt. Pat King, Past Great Baillie. E.Kt. Neil Pinner, Past Great Turcopolier E.Kt. Mark Hamilton.
Three candidates were then installed as Knights of Malta by the Great Prior of Malta R.E.Kt Jonathan Charles Whittaker. E.Kt. Michael Stillwell announced their entry into the Grand Temple as Great Captain of Outposts. E.Kt. Kelvin Gane escorted one of those Knights into the Grand Temple as Great Deputy Mareshal. There were two Knights from Kent on the Grand Masters Bodyguard presenting the Banners namely Kt. Andrew Waddington and E.Kt. Ed Lines.
The Knights retired from the Great Priory and enjoyed a fine meal at the Connaught’s rooms hosted by the Grand Master.
