Squiggle Kent Knights take a trip to Lincolnshire

The Most Eminent & Supreme Knight. Paul Raymond Clement G.C.T. Grand Master installed R.E.Kt. Martin Frank Hemsley Lewik as Provincial Prior of Lincolnshire at Lincoln Cathedral Chapter house on 5th October 2024.

An impressive number of Kent Knights were in attendance including R.E.Kt David Jordan, E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge, & E.Kt. Colin Smith. The new Provincial Sub Prior V.E.Kt. Michael Carter was introduced into the Provincial Priory by the Great Captain of the Guards E.Kt. Philip Care and received by the Deputy Great Marshal E.Kt. Kelvin Gane, both active Great officers from Kent.

The two Kentish knights who now live in Lincolnshire, E.Kt. Kevin Johnson and E.Kt. Nick Probets were also in attendance. The ceremony took place in the Chapter House a circular chapel with all the assembled Knights sitting around the edge of the Chapel resembling the original design of a Knights Templar meetings.

The new Provincial Prior presented a cheque for £1000 to the Cathedral’s Preceptor, Revd. Canon Nick Brown. The Grand Master and his team with the Knights of the Province retired from the Cathedral to the refectory held at the Lincoln Hotel.
