On Monday 30th of September 2024 at Mark Masons Hall St. James, London R.E.Kt. David James Thompson presided over the Provincial Priory of London.

R.E.Kt. Thompson was paraded into the Chapter under his own new Provincial Prior’s banner. Bearing the coat of arms of his family. The Provincial Prior warmly welcomed the visiting Provincial Priors and distinguished guests and appointed his provincial officers and his bodyguard who were out in large numbers.

There were a good number of Kent Knights present including the representative of the Provincial Prioy of Kent executive V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean Provincial Vice-Chancellor, E.Kt. Mark Wright Provincial 1st Constable, E.Kt. Kevin Johnston Provincial Organist and E.Kt. David Hiscock
