A Successful Meeting for Surrey’s Past Preceptors Preceptory

At the Emmaus Preceptory No.446 Surrey’s Past Preceptors Preceptory at Surbiton Masonic Hall on the 20th of September 2024 V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean reigning Preceptor of Frederick Friday Preceptory visited to establish a cross visiting forum between our neighbouring Past Preceptors Preceptories.

The Eminent Preceptor of Emmaus Preceptory V.E.Kt. Chris Eley welcomed their guest from Kent and he was further welcomed by the Provincial Prior of Surrey R.E.Kt. Pat Crossan. During the meeting E.Kt. Jamie Ingham Clarke gave a presentation on the current challenges affecting the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital and a generous donation was made to the Eye Hospital of £1000 from the members of Emmaus.

The Preceptory was closed and a Chapter of Provincial Priory of knights of Malta of Surrey was opened and a Knight was installed as a Knight of Malta by the Provincial Sub Prior E.Kt. Miguel Godfrey.

The Provincial Prior then proceeded to invest and install his Malta Provincial Officers.
