Squiggle The Installation Meeting of Frederick Friday Preceptory No.484

The Frederick Friday Preceptory No.484 held its Installation meeting on the 7th of September 2024 at Chatham Masonic Hall.

The Provincial Sub Prior E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge installed V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean into the Chair in a sincere manner and word perfect. The installation ceremony was marshaled by E.Kt. Ed Lines expertly. The Eminent Preceptor regularly installed all his officers and V.E.Kt. Dean thanked the Installing Preceptor for such a good ceremony and then conducted the business of the Preceptory.

There were three joining Knights to the Preceptory namely E.Kt. Leslie Fraser, E.Kt. Garry Nash and E.Kt. Danny Daniel who was warmly welcomed into the Preceptory the Eminent Preceptor.

The Preceptory proposed and approved a fantastic donation to the Ellonor Hospice of £200 that will be presented at the Provincial Priory of Kent Sunday Lunch in January 2025. The Provincial Prior’s Bodyguard was out in numbers with twelve members present to form an impressive arch of Steel.

The Knights present retired to a splendid refectory by the new caterers called (Invicta) at Chatham Masonic Hall. Which included a favourite of many, Liver and Bacon followed by generous bowls of creamy fruit Trifle.
