The Installation Meeting of West Kent Preceptory No.371

On Friday the 6th of September 2024 at West Kent Preceptory No.371 at Sevenoaks Masonic Hall, Companion Michael Andrew Birkbeck was expertly Installed as a Knight Templar by E.Kt. Ian Mitchell and well Marshaled by E.Kt. David Martin with E.Kt. Graham Mitchell delivering the Charge and E.Kt. Roger Moye explaining the Symbols.

The new companion in arms was very honoured by the Provincial Prior of East Anglia R.E.Kt Colin Birkbeck his uncle giving him the accolade and explaining the sign, grip and word of a Knight Templar in a most sincere manner.

The meeting was further Honoured by the Presents of the Provincial Prior of Kent R.E.Kt David Jordan who welcomed the Provincial Prior of East Anglia to the Province of Kent along with his Provincial Vice-Chancellor V.E.Kt. Peter Coles.

West Kent Preceptory No.371

The Preceptory also had five other Very Eminent Knights in attendance including the Past Provincial Sub Prior V.E.Kt. Noel Grout.

After a superb meeting the assembled Knights retired to an excellent refectory of Fish and Chips.
