Most Eminent & Supreme Grand Master
At the Provincial Priory of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire in Sindlesham Masonic Centre the Most Eminent and Supreme Grand Master Paul Raymond Clement G.C.T. installed R.E.Kt. Dean Robert White into the chair as Provincial Prior of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. R.E.Kt. White was previously the Provincial Sub Prior.The ceremony was extremely colourful with all the Province’s Preceptory banners presented to the Grand Master and the Provincial Prior’s bodyguard giving an impressive arch of steel for the Grand Master and his Grand officers to be paraded into the Chapter of Provincial Priory where the Grand Master took the chair. He asked the Great Chancellor His Honour Ian Douglas Gavin Alexander G.C.T. as installing 1st Constable and V.E.Kt. Steven John Warwick P.1st Gt. Con as installing 2nd Constable and E.Kt. Ian Charles Dury Gt. Captain of Guards as Installing Captain of Guards and E.Kt. Paul Busby Gt. Guard as Installing Guard. These Great officers where taken to their positions by the Great Marshal R.E.Kt.
Tim Wheeler G.C.T. The Grand Master asked for the Provincial Prior Nominate to be invited into the Provincial Priory to be obligated and swear his fealty to the Grand Master, after which the Grand Master presented his collar and Jewel of office and his baton of power along with his Paten of appointment.
There were four Kentish Knights to witness this amazing ceremony E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge, V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean, E.Kt. David Martin and E.Kt. Norman Playford all really enjoyed the day and the festive board afterwards.
