Triple installation for Kent Bodyguard Priory

The Kent Bodyguard Priory No.552 on the 10th of February 2024 held a Malta meeting at Gillingham Masonic Hall. At the meeting three Knights were installed into the order of Knights of Malta.

The three Candidates and the Provincial Prior, Eminent Prior, Sub Prior and Past Sub Prior

The new Knights of Malta were Kt. Kemp, Kt. Colquhoun and Kt. Miller with the Eminent Prior E.Kt. Peter Chun conducting the ceremony, aided by the Provincial Prior R.E.Kt David Jordan who gave the accolade. The Sub Prior E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge presented each Knight with their Malta Jewel. E.Kt. Dennis Dean explained the banners, E.Kt. Andrew Dive delivered the lectures of the Standards, approach of the Knights and the Pentangle Table, and E.Kt. Kelvin Gane gave the lecture on the Octagonal Table.

A Provincial Priory of Knights of Malta was then opened by the Provincial Prior and he proceeded to appoint his Provincial Officers of present. The Priory then proposed and approved a donation of £250 for the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital.
