In 2023 E.Kt Robyn Murdo-Smith has raised £2,232 for St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group as a result of a number of physical challenges but mostly from his Kent Coast Circum Kayak – KCCK.

Launching from Erith Yacht Club, the KCCK Team paddled seven legs along the Thames under Dartford Bridge and onto Gravesend then leg two, Queens Borough to Oare nature reserve. Leg three moved onward to Seasalter, leg four to Tankerton and leg five onto Minnis Bay. Leg 6 was to Palm Bay and finally leg seven finished at Ramsgate, a total distance of 46.5 miles.
Traversing the Isle of Grain with its expanses of hazardous mud has been delayed until next year.

Robyn was supported this year by Barbara Boosefield, Andrew Berry, Paul Southgate, Claire Pitts and other members of Pirates Canoe Club plus Rob Davis of South East Kayaking his Navigator.
