On Saturday 1st February 2020, a Past Preceptors meeting was held at the Chatham Masonic Hall in the Province of Kent. The Acting Eminent Preceptor William Roberts and the Provincial Sub Prior Pieter Jan Swinge with 40 other distinguish Knights were in attendance for the brilliant lecture by Dick Griffins on “My life as the Personal Protection Officer to HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh”.

At the meeting, Kessick John Jones KCT. P.Prov.Prior thanked the speaker Dick Griffins for a sensational variety of funny stories about him and the Royal Family. At the Refectory the Speaker was presented with a cheque for £250 for the Kent and Surrey Air ambulance from the Knights of Fredrick Friday Preceptory No. 484. A very entertaining occasion indeed was enjoyed by all in attendance.
